It documents the Beatles recording sessions for the "White Album" issued in the fall of 1968.
This consists of demo's, studio outtakes, and live in-the-studio recordings and television performances recorded during the making of the White Album. Many demo's and outtakes are quite rare, including an alternate version of Revolution 9 from a very rare acetate that was John Lennon's.
A very nice package from Silent Sea, with all sources fully authenticated and documented. Superb sound fidelity - probably official release quality....it's that good.
Nice color photographs from the summer of 1968 of the Beatles. The only drawback is the voiceover talking of Yoko Ono on several tracks, as noted on the cover. The rest is an chronology of White Album songs as they were recorded.
