The Bardentreffen is a Singer-Songwriter Festival taking place at seven public stages in Nuremberg with more than 60 bands in the official program - and a lot of musicians playing on private venues or just on the street - and everything for free! Traditionally this 3-day-marathon takes place on the the last weekend in July (or the first in August),and, over the years, it became Germany's biggest world music festival - with more than 200.000 visitors crowding together in the historic district of this beautiful city.
Insel Schütt is a small green isle near the Heilig-Geist-Spital in the middle of the inner city, surrounded by the river Pegnitz. The concert startet at 8.30 pm, and Guru Guru promoted their new album 'Moshi Moshi' (1997).
